Sunny Florida!

A sleep into start the day is always nice and today was no exception, from then on the day went in reverse. We hit Krystal’s for lunch..thats right not at the end of the night after we had been drinking, but for lunch, a strange concept to most I’m sure. We hooked into the chilli cheese pups and Krystal burgers. We then went to see the beach in Fort Walton, and when we got there, for the first time in years, there is fog everywhere! But that didn’t stop the surfers still being out and also a group of guys playing beach volleyball. It was still quite nice out, the rain has cleared and now its like a hot muggy steamy sort of day, nice from being cold all the time.

Then we headed over to the Silver Sands Outlet Mall which is in Destin, not far from where Nick lives in Fort Walton. It’s a huge shopping complex with all the stores you would expect to find and some new ones that we hadn’t seen before, which was good. We both got some more suitcases as well, which we are going to need when we get to New York. American Airlines must be loving us by know with all these extra bags we have to pay for on each flight, but what can you do.

We then went to AJ’s which is right on the water for a few $5.00 pitchers and Bec had Marguarita’s, it was a great pub, with some yummy seafood and also a band playing.

We had Whataburger for dinner after we finished at AJ’s, that’s right the place is called Whataburger, and they were right…Whataburger they were quite good, I think we have just about eaten our way through all the chains that are here in the states. It was home for some comfy pants on the couch time and late night TV viewing.

At AJ's there was a man dressed up as a pirate and he was making balloon animals, so i got some!
