We’re on the road again . . .road trip!
We just left Louisville Kentucky and our bound for Chattanooga Tennessee.
Ryan hired us an awesome car so we are travelling in style. We just filled up with gas and got some snacks so we are ready to go.
We are going to see more of the country as we drive which is going to be such a nice change from flying. Also side note: Roy’s luggage wont even close and he has a bag just full of shoes that won’t fit anywhere! It’s not me for once with excess baggage – thanks to my excellent planning and posting my extras home.
Big big thanks to Ron and Maureen for letting us stay and welcoming us in, we all had dinner last night at this awesome Mexican place, it was the nicest cleanest Mexican food I have eaten in a long time. The only weird thing was that they didn’t serve Margarita’s!!! What the . . .
Also thanks to Ryan for organising so many interesting things for us to do while we were here, he thought of everything and showed us such a great time. While he was at work during the day he made sure that one of his friends came around and took us out so we were never without something to do, here I was thinking I might get to relax a bit – haha but it was a fantastic few days.
Ok well I will be back when something interesting happens.
Only took us 4 hours to get to Chattanooga and that was with a bit of a hold up with a traffic accident along the way, we think about a 3 car pile-up as we saw 3 tow trucks with smashed up cars on them and the traffic was banked back for miles, thankfully we were in the other lane, but we still got held up with everyone having a look at what had happened.
I will leave this blog with some pictures of our final day in Louisville we went to the Slugger Museum and we also went to Church Hill Downs (the racetrack).
Will post more again soon, internet is harder to get to here…….
