Nick had to work today so we hung around the house in the morning and then he picked us up at lunchtime and we went to Buffalo Reef and had Roy had Buffalo wings of course. Nick dropped us off at the mall close by and Roy and I got to have a look around, I finally got a chance to have my nails done again, ahhh relief, I was this close to taking off my nails, I have had them on for years so I don’t know how I would have handled that once it was actually done! But crisis averted.
We were going to catch a movie, but we got held up in Panera on the computer. Roy has been trying to get in touch with Qantas to book us the exit row for our flight home from LA next week, a comedy of errors, that is how I realised I had left my charger behind in Chattanooga (duhhhh) coz my phone needed charging before Roy could make that long phone call, so then we decided that we might be able to use the phone that Jason left us with, but it ran out of credit before Roy got to speak to anyone. So we went looking for a charger and didn’t find one, so funny, so it’s a job for tomorrow as the time difference now means they have all gone home in Sydney.
Tonight we went to watch Nick’s youngest son Mitch play basketball at the middle school he goes to, it was good to see Mary and the kids again, they are lovely kids, they have such wonderful manners. After the game we all had dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s, the kids were quizzing us on all the different words we use, i.e. – Ketchup and Sauce, chips and French fries, they thought sauce was the funniest one, anyways I don’t think they will be calling it Ketchup anymore, hehe glad we could rub off on them.
It rained all day. Still foggy.
I still havent gotten over ordering miniature sized food! I love it.
