Ryans last day

Today we went to the Chattanooga Aquarium, which was pretty interesting, there were loads of interesting creatures there from both land and sea, and of course we took heaps of photos.

Ryan found the nicest place for lunch today, it was called Panera’s, we had homemade soup and salads and home made bread and free wifi so we got to update the blog again.

Monday night the boys popped down to the Fresh Market here in Chattanooga (Like Tony Ale’s) to pick up some stuff for dinner. But that only happened on the way home from the Palms where they stopped for a couple of beers after work, in a matter of minutes Ryan was hammered of the Jager…again and was a dribbling mess by the time we left there at about 8.15pm (we were only there long enough for Roy to have 2 beers, and Ryan was cactus). Bec was at home waiting for us wondering were the fire truck we were. At the Fresh Market they have complimentary coffee for you drink while you shop, Ryan was so trashed he poured himself a coffee and must have thought he still drinking Jager, coz he slammed it down and burned the sh*t out of his throat which would have to have given him 3rd degree burns, Jason and Roy just about wet themselves laughing.

The boys cooked up a storm, Ryan and Jason cooked us up the best dinner, entrĂ©e we had mussels and prawns with the best marinade I have ever had, (I found out afterwards they put my Moet in the marinade – no wonder) for mains we had some big rib eye steaks with oven roasted potatoes and Ryan made this beautiful sauce with peppers, onion and chives, marinated. Roy had Salmon that Jason cooked on the grill outside on the porch in about 5C weather, everything was cooked to perfection, it’s the first home made meal I have eaten the whole time we have been away and it was gooood. We put it all together and sat and ate and kept an eye on Monday Night Football the whole time.

A good day was had by all for sure.
