Chillin in the Nooga

Ok so we headed down to Chattanooga on Saturday morning and here are a few highlights that I missed during the last blog:

8.00am -  Left Louisville

9.45am – 1st toilet stop – FOR THE BOYS

10.00am – Reached Tennessee border

10.15am – First advertising sign for 70% off for Fireworks – Roy’s interested

10.38am - Reached Nashville

11.00am – Saw snow on the side of the road and its 0 degrees outside

12.10am – Reached Chattanooga

12.30am – Met Maples at Hooters

The day pretty much went downhill from here, it consisted of a lot of drinking, out of control shooters (Maples to blame) we had vomiting, dancing, clubbing and watching football, talking smack, catching up, reminiscing and all the usual. But not in that order, anyways we were all tucked up in bed by 11.30 that night, just to show you how things spiralled. Krystals in the belly on the way home as well, they have “fantastic” chilli cheese fries.

Safe to say the welcome party was a big one and we were all a little slow Sunday

But we headed out for Mexican brunch which serves all you can drink free champers all day long! So we all decided to get on the sauce again, Maples even did a shooter at breakfast, it was a $25 shot of tequila, he loves it. Roy didn’t drink and the barman kept trying to spike his Sprite with some sort of spirit, it was funny. The food was really good.

Then we went to Smokey Bones pub/restaurant to watch some more footy and drink some more, again more shooters etc etc, but nothing like Saturday.

Roy and I popped out during the footy to do a spot of shopping across the street and we both picked up some shoes they had buy 1 get second pair half off, my favourite kind of sale.

We have had a great weekend so far with Jason & Ryan and met some great new friends as well. We eased out the rest of Sunday with some pizza and resting on the couch, it was much needed.

Tomorrow we are going to the Chattanooga Aquarium and then who knows what else we will get up to. Stay tuned . . .

The biggest ribs ever
You can get a bucket of 5 beers for $10!!

The backed up traffic
The creepy snowman that was eye-balling Roy!
