Nick has the day off today so we are going site seeing. First stop this morning was Radio Shack so I could get a charger for Becberry, she is plugged in and as soon as its 5am in Sydney then Roy can phone about our seats.
It has to be noted that when we got into the car Roy had to plug the phone in so it would charge and he managed to bend the pins on the plug that goes into the phone, are you kidding me! Luckily for him, I bought two of them, its like I knew something like that would happen – he is an accident waiting to happen sometimes. I know your all laughing coz its so Roy!!
We are on our way to Walmart, Roy hasn’t been inside one yet and the curiosity is getting the better of him, so our first site seeing stop is Walmart. Funny!
Ok so Walmart was awesome, the only thing I can think of at home that is even close would be if Target, Woolies, Big W, JB’s etc etc were all in one store, so you can buy candy, groceries, cd’s and also guns, ammo haha we had to go and check that section out, we took a couple of pics. Of course!
Next we went to Destin Commons which is a shopping complex, but sort of more set up for tourists, it has heaps of stores, pubs and a movie cinema as well. We did a quick power shop, few more pairs of shoes for me (I couldn’t leave without them – they are wedges!!!) But I did find a new store that I hadn’t seen before, always fun. On our way back to Ft Walton Beach we stopped at a Tropical Waves store for some souvenir shopping, some classy t-shirts were acquired. At this point we were still on track to make it back to Niceville and catch another game with Mitch, only to be held up by a traffic accident were some snapperhead tried to outrun the cops and ended up crossing lanes in the traffic and wiped out a few cars in the process, some pictures were taken. It didn’t hold us up too much and we made it to the game in time. Mary and Nicholas were there also, we were able to farewell them again. By the way the Mitch Morken led Robert Lewis Eagles smashed St Marys 26-8.
Tonight we are having dinner at Scully’s, they do good pizza and also serve 25c beers, yes 25c for a cup of beer, crazy hey! We met up with our two new friends Sheri and Carol that we met and got to talking to on Sunday night at AJ’s. They said they would meet us on our last night, it was so great to see them again and have a few drinks, share some more laughs! They have promised to come and visit us in Australia so we can show them how lovely our country is. We finished the night back at Helen Backs, picked up some t-shirts to mark the occasion, had a few more drinks, and played the ring and hook game, a fun night.
Tomorrow we travel to New York, I have been looking forward to this part of our holiday for about a year now I cant believe its finally here!!!!!!
Just picking up a gun and some ammo at the local Walmart, they even had a pink gun in that cabinet!

My drink came in a little bucket! It was so delicious, another good drink for Xmas day I think (of course I had to drink enough so that we could all have a bucket by the pool! haha)
