this is the life!

So we had a lovely dinner last night at Matteo’s Pizzeria where they are famous for doing great pizza and they certainly do, however we ordered Mai Tai’s as you do when in Maui and they were  so strong it was like drinking lighter fluid, however they did the job as we both giggled all the way home like a couple of school girls! It was the best value cocktail we have had so far as we only needed 1.

This morning Roy ordered us breakfast in bed, which comes with all the trimmings, it was beautiful and him being the romantic he is had our wedding playlist going while we ate, today is Saturday in Perth so its been a week since we got married – awwww,  sorry bit sappy, but its cute.

Oh also my jetlag has decided to go to another level and I didn’t sleep more than an hour last night, which is making it hard for me to want to do anything that requires leaving the room today, but I will struggle through as there is a hollowed out pineapple filled with delicious goodness waiting for me by the pool this afternoon. These are the things I have to do, it’s a hard life, I seriously feel so relaxed like I have been here for 2 weeks, not just starting my third day.

I have to tell you some of the great things about this hotel, its 5 star so you are paying for it, but they are very very attentive, our room is cleaned twice a day which anyone that knows me will know that I am automatically impressed, I love coming back to a made up room. There is an ice bucket  which they fill up for you every time they are in the room and if you run out there are ice stations on every floor! How cool! I just love it here, Roy certainly did his homework when picking this hotel, we were walking along the beach yesterday and you can see all the other hotels and I definitely think he picked the most perfect one I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Suppose I have babbled on long enough, I will leave you with some more happy snaps and hope everyone back home is having a great weekend!
